Classes

Below is a short description of the variety of classes Kingdom Kids offers. We utilize traditional methods for kindergarten readiness with biblical principals and Christian values interwoven into each school day. We teach about Jesus, model His love to all of the children and their families and encourage the ‘Kingdom Kids’ to do the same for others.

Bluebirds

These children are younger threes for whom a two day/week experience would be most appropriate.  This class focuses on social and spiritual needs and is especially suitable for children who may be a bit uneasy about separating, or who are learning to adapt to a classroom environment. The two day Bluebirds session meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Tuition for this class is $115/month.

Doves

This class is more appropriate for three or four year old children who are ready for a bit of structure and are able to follow directions for activities that will challenge them to develop spiritually, academically and socially. Some of these children may move onto kindergarten the following year. The three day Doves session meets Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Tuition for this class is $145/month.

Cardinals
	These children are four years old, most of whom plan to attend kindergarten the following year. This class adds more structure and incorporates all of the academic, social and physical skills children need to successfully attend Kindergarten. The three day Cardinals session meets Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Tuition for this class is $145/month.

Robins

This class is most appropriate for older four year olds and five year olds who are ready for a faster pace in their final year of preschool. These children are able to focus on activities and tasks for a more sustained period of time and are able to easily follow multiple step instructions. Children in this class must have the stamina for a five hour day once a week in addition to two morning sessions. The three and a half  day Robins session meets Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 to 11:30 AM and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Tuition for this class is $185/month.

Sparrows

These children are mostly four’s with a mix of both older three’s and younger five’s. Some of these children will go on to kindergarten while some will be back for another year of preschool. Kindergarten readiness skills are taught in this class with the understanding that younger children may not be as ready to learn some of the concepts as the older children. This class has always been a uniquely fun and cohesive group of children. This additional afternoon Sparrows session is offered from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM Tuesday, Thursday and Friday [only with sufficient registration]. Tuition for this class is $140/month.

All class placements are made according to both your child’s individual needs, and director and teacher (when applicable) recommendations. If you have questions or would like to discuss which class is most appropriate for your child, please speak to the Kingdom Kids Director. Please note, children must be three years old by September 1^st and able to use the toilet without assistance to be eligible for that school year’s enrollment. 

Registration for the school year begins in January and remains open until the classes fill. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $40 required for each child being registered. Please click here for our registration form. Please check back periodically for all new registration information.

Kingdom Kids provides financial aid either on a temporary or ongoing basis to families who need assistance. There is a fund, made up entirely from donations from the congregation of MLUPC solely for this purpose. Any family requesting tuition assistance must complete an application for approval. The applications will be reviewed and the names of all applicants and aid recipients are kept confidential. The financial aid provided will not exceed 50% of the annual tuition amount. Applications must be re-submitted, reviewed and approved every year assistance is necessary. To inquire about tuition assistance, please speak directly with Joyce Hannan-Story, Kingdom Kids Director.
