Location and Parking

Kingdom Kids is located in MLUPC at the corner of Scott Road and Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon. Kingdom Kids address is 255 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15216.  We are housed on the ground level in the Christian Education Wing of the church.

 Kingdom Kids is equipped with a security system. To further our security efforts, the glass perimeter doors on both sides of our hallway are kept locked. The end inner hallway doors are also locked from the outside. According to fire code, doors must always be open from the inside. For this reason, each door on our hallway is equipped with a “sounder”. Each staff member wears a key “fob” that allows the class to pass through the doors, after traveling outside the secured area. If a child should attempt to open any door without adult permission, an alarm will sound, alerting the staff. There are green buttons placed out of a child’s reach that an adult may press to disengage the system to exit.

The MLUPC/Kingdom Kids parking lot can be accessed on either Washington Road or Scott Road.

If you are able, we encourage you to park in the lower lot off Scott Road, and come up the set of stairs to the rear parking lot. In this way you will avoid the traffic and congestion of the upper lot!

On school mornings, please exercise caution and patience when navigating the parking lot. There are usually a lot of vehicles and people moving through the area.

Please be advised there are also drop offs for Jubilee Christian School and MLUPC Mother’s Morning Out (MMO). We have coordinated our parking lot procedures with these other ministries with the safety of the children as our top priority.

Finally, we ask that you do not use the drive-through as a parking area. This area is intended for through traffic only. Thank you.

We have had several close calls in the parking lot, so we ask that you please abide by these guidelines, which have been put in place for the protection of you and your little ones!
